A Waste Management truck? If I'm right, I've also seen a Krispy Kreme donut shop in issue #1 and the restaurant (Monk's?) from Seinfeld.
It's little touches like these that further endear me to this book. :)
You're right on the truck and the Krispy Kreme shop. Never seen Seinfeld though.
I had to look it up, but on the first frame of page 10 on issue #2, Greta and Leo are standing in front of a restaurant (marked 'Restaurant') as Greta explains that she's in dire economic straits.
The restaurant Tom's Restaurant in Manhatten, and even the angle of the shot in issue #2 resembles one of the exterior shots of Tom's used to represent Monk's Cafe in Seinfeld. If it was a coincidence, that's a heck of a coincidence.
(And, yeah, I'm kinda obsessing over Criminal. Hope ya don't mind a fan enjoying this book quite this much.)
