Nice work Sean, always interesting to see the stages of an artist's process. I'm kind of surprised as I always figured you probably spotted the blacks first.

i'm totally loving the combo of you and leonardi. what size does he do his roughs? when is this jla book coming out? thanks.
When I inked Jose Luis Garcia Lopez, which was mostly brush, I spotted the blacks first.
Rick does his pencils standard size but they're quite loose. I prefer that, makes it more interesting for me.
I'm really digging all the work you're posting lately. It's great inspiration and information. Drawing fuel!
