The Kids From Rec Road


Haven't done anything from Seven Psychos worth showing today, so here's a really old piece from 1978.
Back then along with two friends, Peter Doree and David Holman, we made our own comics starring ourselves in various movie satires and original stories. Here's page from a Star Wars parody we did soon after seeing the film on it's original release. We did over 200 pages of these stories over a few years. tommy has some fantastic pages from his own indie comic he made as a kid. it was called "the vindicator" and the main character was... SURPRISE!... named tom edwards. it's cry-off-your-mascara funny stuff. not to mention our son's 7-year-old take on godzilla in 6 issues. my favorite part of that one (somewhere on my blog) was godzilla getting drunk on wine in a martini glass. not my influence, i swear!
